Everytime I watch these moments in Spy x Family I get the urge to start a family Then I remember It would be irresponsible to do it now. I'm in college, not enough money to fully support MYSELF, even less a family So I put the urge back in the spot of my heart it came out of

I don't hate that. What I dislike about the show is that there is hardly any growth or forward momentum in the story. Everything stays the same, nothing changes, we get 2137th gag of "haha anya is dumb". But I cant hate the overall premise/vibes really.

Do you read the manga?

I tried after the second season of anime for a bit, I think i reached the bus part and kinda tapered off after (It was the most recent chapter back then), I just couldnt care waiting a monty for a chapter that had so little substance after a while.

Oh, now I understand. The manga has made progress in many areas recently, although there's a new mystery that they'll probably solve soon. But I can tell you there's been progress. Just don't expect too much from a genre you already mentioned.

I'll give you an example: Frieren currently has the same complaints, but it's also a sclice of life. It got to the point where I asked myself, "Do you know what that genre is about?"

Frieren has a clear and distinct difference: Characters have actual character arcs. Fern grew from a child into young adult over the first half of season 1, Stark goins understanding of his lost family through their experiences. Frieren shows changes too. Its a VASTLY different-

If there was more slice of life and it progressed and had character development I'd like it a lot more. I don't hate it per se, but what I don't like is shonen shit that pops up. Season 3 was awful.

I definitely want to give it a retry, but the dodgeball episode kind of killed my hype for season 3. Anya doing slice of life stuff at school is kind of dull, even though the bearded professor character is hilarious. She's at her best getting up to shenanigans with her family.
