When touring WA , pull into our small towns and support our small shops/ cafes / pubs. Some are trying their ass off to keep country towns alive. So what if the beer or fuel is a bit pricey! Who gives u a tow for free ? Or tells... u the yarns for free? Who does the ambo for free?show more

@MrsJusak gave someone the towball of the car last week. Their one had snapped towing a van and the shop in town didn't have one the right size. They had no cash.

I work in a position that often requires long drives through remote Australia - it’s incredibly important to keep these small towns alive - for 20 years now, I have made a special effort to spend $’s with them, to keep them alive! I couldn’t do the job I do, without them.

By the way most fuel is profit back to head office - they only pay the servo operator a flat amount per L sold (Say 8c-14c) so show some love around the small towns !!

I did exactly that when I drove return Melbourne to Perth a few years ago. So much to see that people in a plane never get to experience. Was a memorable trip.
