Bengal is not buying a single word of it, because: 👉 It is a scam-ridden scheme that the CAG has exposed with glaring irregularities – 7.5 lakh beneficiaries linked to a single fake number (9999999999), crores spent on treatment of dead patients, and the same patient shown admitted in multiple hospitals. 👉 Hospitals routinely refuse to accept Ayushman Bharat cards, leaving patients stranded and helpless. 👉 Its highly restrictive eligibility criteria exclude millions of deserving people from any safety net. 👉 In Bengal we already have Swasthya Sathi, which provides ₹5 lakh health coverage to 8.72 crore people from 2.45 crore families.
