When Uber CEO Travis Kalanick tried explaining Uber Eats

He did a horrible job of explaining it.

Uber CEO Kalanick argues with driver over falling fares.

I think the CEO is missing the mark on what Uber Eats aims to achieve! A good problem statement should be clear and concise, capturing the core issue in just one line. This simplicity helps pinpoint the main challenge that needs to be tackled.

Uber Eats began as a food delivery service called UberFRESH in Santa Monica, California in August 2014. The platform was renamed Uber Eats in 2015, and the ordering software was released as a standalone application.

It’s crazy to think everyone is just a thought away from a million dollars Or even a thought away from a major epiphany, whether logical, emotional or spiritual. 🧠

Uber Eats chief Jason Droege, suggested changing the approach to work with more restaurants. Bill Gurley, a board director at the time, questioned whether Uber should stay in the market. After six months of resistance, Kalanick agreed to Droege's suggestion. Uber Eats is now one of the most popular food-on-demand delivery apps, with partnerships with about 800,000 restaurants and services in over 11,000 cities.

The way he explained it is NOT how it works. They don’t put the food in the car and THEN you order.

He is simply saying, the food will already be in the cars, all you need to do is order from the options available 👍

Uber Eats is way too expensive now. So I order the whole menu to make it worth it.
