The article emphasizes the pivotal role of unions in advocating for workers' rights through collective bargaining. It highlights the positive impacts of union victories, such as improved labor standards, fair wages, and better working conditions. The phrase "When unions win, all workers win" signifies that the benefits extend beyond unionized workers, influencing non-unionized workers and contributing to a more equitable society. The article acknowledges historical achievements of unions, including shaping labor laws and protecting workers. However, it also notes ongoing challenges and debates about the role of unions in the contemporary workforce, emphasizing the need for a balanced approach to workers' rights and economic considerations.
