When VAs post role announcements back to back, it makes it seem like they’re doing nothing but winning. BUT what’s usually happening is a bunch of projects are releasing at the same time even though they were recorded over an extended period of time. It’s an ✨illusion✨

This is indeed very true we have some people in our TBG cast that we casted over a year ago and some of the roles aren’t revealed yet. 😭

People always forget how lkng projects really are. There some projects that take over a year to release, and even though you already have recorded your lines, others have not, and its a curse to keep it hidden.

I've experienced this too. I've had moments where nothing was happening, just auditioning, sending lines in, etc. Month goes by, suddenly, all my directors are like, "WE'RE READY!"

Right?? It’s a weird phenomenon and definitely skews people’s perception

I talk to my mom on the phone and she’ll say “I saw your social media!! Did you record that last week when you had that one session?” …um no mom I actually recorded that 8 months ago.

There’s also the concept is them just having a backlog of announcements and kind of just spacing them out rather than dropping them all at once.
