Today, I joined the community in Gasabo District, Rutunga Sector, Kigabiro Cell, Rukerereza Village for Umuganda. Together, we gathered in recognition of World Water Day, International Day of Forests, and World Meteorological Day important moments that remind us how much we depend on nature every single day. One of the main activities was tree planting. As I placed a young tree into the soil, It reminded me that every tree we plant is a promise to protect our land, to preserve our water, and to leave something better for the next generation. Planting trees should not be seen as a one-day ! It is something each of us should take part in, wherever we are.
