Seeing a tiny, senior dog like Dolly left to fend for herself on the streets is absolutely heartbreaking. When we first found her, she was in a terrible state and had lost almost all of her hair. You really have to wonder how dogs like her manage to survive out there alone. We spent months getting her healthy again, and the most amazing part was that despite everything she had been through, all she wanted was to be loved. She was just the sweetest little girl waiting for someone to give her heart to. Her patience finally paid off when a wonderful British family moving to Phuket decided to adopt her. Today, she never has to face the scary world alone again. She is sleeping on soft beds, getting spoiled rotten, and living her absolute best life like a little puppy all over again. We could not be happier for you, Dolly. ❤️

I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. I met this little person last summer on the streets of Portland. She had been on the streets for many years and was going through a lot of chronic pain. She was a trained attorney, but due to a medical condition was not ever able to practice. I was recently messaged by an acquaintance of hers, who let me know that she has sadly passed away. This is the sad reality of the streets. She was a very sweet lady and I met with her a few times and we used to sit there and just watch YouTube videos together.

There was no way I could just leave her there. I gently picked her up and took her straight to the vet. She was given the treatment she needed, and everyone hoped she would make a full recovery. Over the next few days, she slowly started getting better. Her wounds began to heal, and little by little, her strength came back. The scared little stray was finally beginning to trust people again. Once she was healthy enough, I brought her home. She had a warm bed, good food, and, most importantly, a place where she finally felt safe. Now for some positive news! Echo was abandoned on the side of the road next to a mailbox. Sara was able to capture her, and after a few months at the sanctuary we were able to get her to trust and love again. Now, we are so thrilled to announce she has been adopted out to the perfect forever home 🩷

A man was walking through the forest when he spotted a stray mother dog trying her best to protect her tiny puppies. She looked exhausted. You could tell she hadn’t had a proper meal in days. Her body was weak, but she refused to leave her babies for even a second. The rescuers knew they couldn’t rush things. So they started by bringing her food and keeping their distance, hoping she would realize they weren’t there to hurt her. Even though she was starving, her eyes never left her puppies. Every movement made her nervous. All she cared about was keeping her little family safe. They carefully placed some food inside a humane trap, hoping she would walk in. But again, she chose to stay beside her babies instead. After almost an hour of patience and gentle effort, the team finally managed to rescue her. It wasn’t easy, but it was the only way to save the whole family. As the puppies were picked up, the mother watched them with worried eyes. You could see how much she loved them. The entire family was taken to a rescue shelter, where they finally got full bowls of food, medical care, and a safe place to rest. She Almost Gave Up... no one willing to come near until a loving man stepped in 💓✨ "Then she suddenly ran away from us. When we followed her, we found her standing at the entrance of a travelling agency office. The officer came out and told us she had been abandoned there by her owner. And since that day, she checks this office five times a day, still hoping that one day her owner will walk out of that door for her. Poor mama, not knowing he was never coming back for her at all. But today her waiting was finally over because we were here now. This was the moment we finally brought her to her new home. But she just walked slowly to a corner and quietly laid down there. Her eyes were open but they were distant and deeply sad. She was not just tired, she was heartbroken and we understood that completely."
