Who would have thought that what started as a simple one-week subscription joke would turn into something this beautiful? One year later, here we are—stronger, closer, and still choosing to stay. This journey has never been easy. We have experienced days filled with excitement and happiness, but we have also endured long periods of silence. There were moments when we held on without any assurance of what was coming next. After MMK, we faced uncertainty, wondering if Kai and Kyle would have projects together again, wondering if there would be another event, another appearance, another reason to celebrate. Yet despite all those questions, we stayed. We stayed through the quiet days. We stayed through the waiting. We stayed through the moments when all we had was hope. And that is something I will always be proud of. I am proud of every Wishart who chose understanding over frustration, patience over doubt, and love over disappointment. I am proud of those who continued supporting Kai and Kyle individually while still believing in KaiKyle. I am proud of those who remained positive even when things were unclear. Most importantly, I am proud of those who never gave up on the happiness this family has brought them. Because somewhere along the way, this fandom became so much more than KaiKyle. It became friendships. It became comfort. It became a safe space. It became a home. Many of us came here because of Kai and Kyle, but many of us stayed because of the genuine connections we built with fellow Wisharts. Through every interaction, every event, every group chat, every project, and every shared excitement, we found people who understood us and made this journey even more meaningful. This time… it’s us speaking. Not the media. Not the politicians. Not the pundits who profit off our pain. This time… it’s the Black community. And we came to say something the world never expected to hear… Thank you, Donald J. Trump Thank you for seeing us when no one else would. Thank you for stepping in when others stepped over us. Thank you for coming - not to exploit us - but to lift us. You didn’t have to… You had everything a man could want… But you still chose us. You gave our HBCUs a future… You gave our communities opportunity.. not handouts. You broke the chains Joe Biden helped fasten with his 1994 Crime Bill… You tore down the wall of lies the Democrats built to keep us dependent… And you built a real wall to protect what little we had left. You came into our storm… And even when they fired a bullet at you… You kept walking. So today… From every city block they abandoned… From every trade school you revived… From every father trying to come home… From every child finally being told you matter… We rise together as one voice… and we, the black community, say.. thank you, Mr. President. The 45th… and the 47th… You came for us. And we will never forget it.
