We apologise to Gauteng parents, learners and school communities for delays in the issuing of some report cards caused by technical challenges affecting SA-SAMS, a national system managed by the Department of Basic Education. A competent technical team is working on the matter and the system is expected to be restored shortly.

If the School is " Full" Operation-Dudula will remove Illegal Immigrant Foreign Learners and create spaces for Our Kids. The Fight is simple and legal. Section 1nb of the Bela Act says all Foreign Learners must have Study visas to be at School. There is no single Foreigner with a Study Visa at Primary or High School. All Foreigners are Illegal. This is the state of education in Namibia. Apparently these are Hereo and Nama learners fighting amongst each other. I am not sure which school this is but honorable Elijah Ngurare Manongo this matter needs to be investigated as soon as possible. We cannot have school going learners participating in tribal war and violence. The school environment also needs to be investigated because sometimes, these children see and hear how teachers treat each other due to ongoing internal tribal conflict. These are the learners we are expected to teach and discipline, as teachers, we are not even safe around the children we teach. There’s a lot we are not unpacking in terms of tribal tension that’s currently brewing in our country and if we are not careful, it will not go down well. This is also bullying, the question is, where did it start? Who started it and why are our learners so comfortable fighting in the streets after school? Parents, what’s your role in this? How did we get here? NBC Digital News This is allegedly a school in Omaruru!😌

We are not against the use of technology to streamline processes but the Gauteng Department of Education online application system is disastrous! Learners are being sent to schools far from home & whose languages are misaligned! Now these parents have to choose between food & scholar transport.

This dialogue is therefore an opportunity to reflect on our economic reality, address pressing challenges, and chart a course towards a more prosperous future for all our citizens. It is my hope and prayer that the lessons that will emerge from these conversations will guide our steps, that we may not repeat the mistakes of recent years.

Torerai Moyo reported on the violation of learners’ rights at an institution in Harare, where nine candidates were barred from writing a ZIMSEC Family and Religious Studies Ordinary Level paper over haircuts deemed inappropriate. He noted the action was inconsistent with Ministry guidelines and confirmed that ZIMSEC will grade the FRS paper the learners wrote to ensure their results are processed.
