Did not have Eckstein WS MVP on my 2006 Bingo card.

My favorite part of Eckstein, notice not a single ball he hit even rolled to the wall 😂 Guy had to crow hop to make the throw from short. But man the guy was made of hustle and grit - so much so he was an overall + player with really only 2 plus skill (glove and contact)

I ran to first base every time I was walked bc of watching him play

He was an awesome dude as well. Was at Wrigley the next year and after a Cubs sweep, was down trying to get autographs and every Cardinal wasn’t in the mood(understandably), but Ecketein stopped, and took the time to talk to everyone, sign, and was just an awesome dude.
