The probe is part of the FCC's crackdown on equal time for political candidates, according to Fox News. The outlet reports that ABC "never made an equal-time filing to the FCC" in relation to Talarico's appearance, "which would implicitly indicate to the FCC that Disney believes 'The View' is bona fide news and would be exempt from the policy." Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett had about 17 minutes on The View last month, but her appearance came before the FCC announced the policy enforcement. Imagine we were at Walt Disney World, and Goofy starts making racial slurs in the middle of the Toontown show. Is Disney not allowed to fire them? Of course they are. It's no different when we talk about Disney's TV shows like Jimmy Kimmel. Disney customers at home were fed up. They said "we don’t want to watch this crap anymore." Disney made a financial decision. It's not financially wise to keep Jimmy Kimmel on the air to spew this nonsense when customers—even Democrats—don’t want to hear it.
