So, there are many positive things happening right now.

❕Telegram channel “Military Chronicle” reports: It appears that Russian forces near Kostiantynivka have successfully implemented a concept originally proposed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces — the so-called “drone wall”: a continuously active strike zone built around autonomously guided Lancet loitering munitions. Several indicators suggest this may represent the first large-scale deployment of a fully autonomous model designed to restrict enemy maneuverability. These drones are not only targeting individual units but are also operating in coordinated swarms against armored vehicles, which the Ukrainian side has been amassing in rear areas 30–50 km behind the front line. What is being created is a persistent presence zone, effectively denying the enemy the ability to move without the risk of immediate strike. In essence, it functions as a micro-level A2/AD zone (Anti-Access/Area Denial). I'd like to point something out regarding the recent DRG operations, and specifically the attached video showing a Russian sabotage operation deep inside Pokrovsk City. This is nothing new - at least in the sense that these deep infiltrations behind the frontlines have been occurring for several months now. As I and many others have been pointing out for a long time, Ukrainian manpower problems will eventually reach a point where they are unable to contain Russian infantry. Right now, we are at the point where they cannot contain all DRGs and are failing to kill them within the required period of 12-24 hours. DRGs have been constantly slipping behind Ukrainian lines simply because there are no soldiers to stop them in some areas. They utilise cover from treelines, windbreaks and the more lightly damaged settlements to evade being spotted by drones, and then carry out sabotage operations on Ukrainian positions multiple kilometres behind the frontline on unaware soldiers and commanders in temporary deployment points. This is what I mean when I point out how relying on one thing to hold parts of the frontline (drones) is not a good tactic nor a good sign as it significantly simplifies Russian assault operation - they don't have to account for as many factors. Yes, the number of DRG operations in the Pokrovsk direction has significantly increased, but the main reason we are seeing this is because of how much attention Pokrovsk is getting right now. This is a common occurrence in weak sections of the frontline, and even sometimes much more stable sectors such as the frontline northwest of Bakhmut.

It is likely that the area is not fully controlled by either side, and the risk of renewed clashes remains high. Additional details are expected to emerge in the coming hours.

Sometimes, lost russian soldiers are found 20, 50 or even 80 km from the front, after they lost themselves during an infiltration attempt. Their value is very small (mainly propaganda and sometimes tracking down drone operators' positions), and there is a big information asymmetry between what Russia shows and what is the reality. There are often cases of lost Russians asking Ukrainian positions (they think the position is Russian) for food or directions. Since they speak the same language at the front, Ukrainian often realise once the Russian soldier left that he was not one of theirs. Everyday, Russian infiltrators are being killed or captured in different directions. 64 of those have recently been caught on Huliailpole front by Skala (this is not just a show off). This strategy is much more efficient in cities than in the countryside, and we should remember we see less than 5% of what is happening on the front everyday. Any map showing this even as a grey zone shouldn't be taken seriously...

Putting Him on Its Wanted List A profile for Mykhailo Drapatyi has appeared in the Russian Interior Ministry’s wanted-persons database. The ministry has not specified which criminal charge the search is based on. Russia’s Investigative Committee had already charged Drapatyi in absentia back in 2023. Russian authorities accused the commander of shelling Russian positions in 2017 and 2019. At the same time, the state-run TASS news agency claims that Russian security services have Drapatyi’s address, phone number, and email. Perhaps Drapatyi should invite the Russian investigators to come and get him? If not in Kyiv, then at least in Mala Tokmachka.
