The Hulk vs. Movie is probably one of Marvel's best animated movies they ever produced. I want to strongly believe the animators who worked on this are probably the ones who usually make DC animated movies.

In the comic book series it doesn't look like Wolverine's adamantium claws pierce the Green Hulk's skin, but they do, he just heals the instance the cuts are made. Wounds and healing process is slower and more visible on the Grey Hulk.
