When word got out…

Hey Darren, I’m a producer at CBC News Network. Would you be okay if we used this video on our show tomorrow morning? We’d credit you of course.

Go for it! Thanks for the note.

I don’t know how well-known it is today that Calgary had a proper downtown street party on electric Avenue after the Jays won their first World Series. I witnessed a CFCN News Jeep get pushed over, and there were people hanging from street lights. It was nuts.

Only a few years removed from 1989. Calgary sports fans knew the way to Electric Ave!

Playing for a country 🇨🇦

My kid’s at that game! She scored a pretty decent view 😎

That's nice to see. One Canada.

This absolutely rocks. Well done Calgary!!

Y'all hate on Toronto all day, every day, but latch onto our sports teams. Hypocrites!

Play nice, Vlad. Just enjoy the moment.

Is the saddledome really that empty??

Not unlike the win column.

Amazing!

Chills! ♥️🇨🇦♥️

Now if only the @NHLFlames can do something to bring the cheers

@ElChupa77
