And then my father, last year while I was running for mayor, he had his citizenship interview. And I was terrified. My mom’s neighbor used to yell at my nephew all the time for no reason, he was only 5 years old when it happened. It got so bad I wouldn’t let him outside by himself anymore. On more than one occasion she would move her car when we walked by as if she was trying to bump him with her mirror. I left work and went over there to visit and when I pulled up I saw my mom outside having a screaming match with the neighbor. My nephew was standing behind my mom and I could see he was crying. I immediately went over there and asked what was going on.she said she came home from work and saw my nephew who I remind you is 5 years old, shirtless and running through a sprinkler in the front yard. She feels that he shouldn’t have been doing that in the front yard and how he was dressed inappropriately for all to see. I looked at him, he was shirtless and was wearing swim trunks and rubber water shoes. I was very confused as to what she meant by inappropriate. I told her he’s a little boy running around a sprinkler, it’s hot out and he wasn’t even close to her property. She said she didn’t care, it was the fact that he was out there shirtless and he shouldn’t have had to see it if he was doing it in the back yard like he was supposed to. My mom then chimed in and said she didn’t have to scream at him like that, he’s only 5 years old. The neighbor threatened to call the cops if she saw him running around shirtless again I told her to be my guest, he’s not doing anything wrong. I ended up calling her son who I grew up with, he and I were friends but as soon as he was old enough he ran out and never came back. He said his mom hated kids, she even treated him badly when he was a kid too and that’s why he left when he did. I ended up installing cameras there to document what was going on incase this escalated further.

250727 warning in taipei #우지 white puppy trainee woozi <3 👤 i never scolded them, there were times when everyone was scolded and howoo were present, i have no memory of scolding howoo individually. they were the standard for trainees. woozi was able to learn choreography within an hour but he didn’t go home and waited for the others. so he was someone who never really expressed [when he had hardships]. if i were to give an extreme example, when he was a trainee he had to remove his wisdom teeth but he went to the practice room and sat there alone. so i asked him what was wrong and it was to the level where he said it was so painful that he wanted to go home. he was someone who even when he was in pain he didn’t express it, if he was struggling he didn’t say so, a white puppy who listened to instructions well

I remember when I was young, around 10-11 years old. My parents were both asleep as was my brother. I heard a knock on the back door which was weird because who uses the back door at a stranger’s house? The kitchen window was close by so I take a look. It looked like a teenager but hard to tell because they had a hoodie with the hood up. I didn’t open the door but I did crack the window and asked them what they wanted. They replied they were lost and wanted to come in to warm up and use the phone. Even when it’s daylight I know never to let anybody in period that I didn’t know, but a stranger after midnight was weird enough. I said no because I didn’t know them. Then they said that hey knew my dad and that’s why he came by. I said that’s fine and all but I’m not letting you use our phone. This was before cellphones were widely used, we had a landline like most people. The person wouldn’t take no for an answer and I could sense he was getting angry. I went and woke up my dad, I told him there was somebody at the back door and that he said they knew him. He walked to the door and looked out and said he didn’t know him. But he did talk through the door and told him that he was calling the police and that he should just leave. The person just stood there until the police finally came and even they asked him what he was doing knocking on the door at that hour. He told them he was lost and thought this was a house of a family friend. The police told him my dad didn’t know him and made him leave. So was this a case of wrong house or was he up to something. It makes me still wonder to this day but I’m still glad I never opened the door.
