Glenn, please talk about this more. We can't let corporate media bury it. Trump says he's getting rid of criminals, while simultaneously taking bribes to let in drug cartels. It isn't just the lawlessness of his actions, but people's safety allowing this to be ignored.

People say “that’s not fair,” but often what they really mean is “my status feels diminished." People care deeply about fairness, especially when it comes to how material resources are distributed. But often the concern is not really about the resource itself. It is about something underneath it. People say they care about fairness, but what they are really asking is: do you respect me? Do you see me as equal? Are you granting me the status that matches how I see myself? Take a common example. You find out that others at your job, in the same role, are being paid more than you. This feels unfair. Now imagine your boss responds, “You’re already making good money. Relax.” That does not calm the situation. It makes it worse. Because the issue was never just the money. It was the signal the difference sends. The gap suggests that you are valued less, that you occupy a lower rung, even if your absolute income is high. The anger that follows is not about deprivation. It is about status. It is the feeling of being diminished, of being treated as less than others who are, in principle, your equals.

REMINDER: Kyle Rittenhouse was found NOT GUILTY by a jury of his peers in a free and fair trial. - You can dislike what he did. - You can think he was wrong - But he is NOT GUILTY If you're calling him a murderer, you are wrong from a legal standing. If Trump is found guilty, I'm sure many of you will claim that MAGA is WRONG when they try to find excuses for his conviction. You would be right, but you would also be a hypocrite. Can we concentrate on things that matter. Things that we can actually do something about. It sucks that Rittenhouse killed people, but it also sucks to have people tearing down our judicial system and trying to undermine it. Sorry but not sorry.
