Back in the late 80’s before everyone had a camera I had a the same situation with a seal. We played for about 10min in shallow waters and at one point I gave her a hug. It was magical and no one really believed me as I was on my own but now as you can see it really does happen.

It would take a millisecond to bite through that air tube. Yes puppies like to do that kind of thing. Wouldn’t be too fun sucking on a straw to get back to the boat.

And that is a dangerous position to be in. Why? Because unknown lurking for lunch is a Great White shark ready to eat a diver & a seal. Just saying. Be aware of your surroundings.

This species of Seal inquisitive and playful. Leopard seals will aggressively take you out and then eat you.
