@kaithrine7 What she did is a felony. If these cops don't get capital punishment for violating the bill of rights, they will do it more and more until our rights are all crimes.

Capital punishment over a phone threat?? Bold strategy tbh let’s see if the Supreme Court is ready for Death Row....Minor Inconvenience Edition!!

Profilbild von John Doehne
John Doehnevor 1 Monat

@kaithrine7 Violation of the bill of rights is never a minor inconvenience, it is worth fighting wars over. She threatened to violate his 4th amendment right in retaliation for him exercising his 1st amendment right. That is a major felony. She violated her oath, lawlessly.

Profilbild von Manolo0528

@kaithrine7 Still not a capital punishment worthy. Wait, do you even know what capital punishment even is?

Profilbild von John Doehne

@kaithrine7 Citizens get executed by cops all the time. Why would we ever allow that without the presenting cops with the same penalty for violating the terms of their oath of office? The only difference between a pirate (or brigand) and a cop is the obedience to the bill of rights

Profilbild von Manolo0528

@kaithrine7 Penalty for piracy? Irrelevant.

Profilbild von John Doehne
John Doehnevor 1 Monat

@kaithrine7 Lawless policing is piracy, it's absolutely relevant. They rob, rape, baptize without consent, kill, traffick, smuggle, and falsely prosecute. This is a real list of things that real cops did. What are pirates known for? A very similar list of crimes.

Profilbild von Caving birdman

@kaithrine7 And I should have said what? The law states anything you can see from a public space like a sidewalk or street, can be photographed without permission or fear of prosecution. Does that help?

Profilbild von CriscoWild
CriscoWildvor 1 Monat

@kaithrine7 You don't need fifty years of experience as a photographer to know that. This is knowledge most people end up with by the time they leave high school. It's basic law. It's like saying "I've been a professional NASCAR driver for 50 years. Speeding down the highway isn't allowed."

Profilbild von Caving birdman
Caving birdmanvor 1 Monat

@kaithrine7 Obviously not everyone does know this. This cop sure as hell didn't.

Profilbild von CriscoWild
CriscoWildvor 1 Monat

@kaithrine7 1. I didn't say everyone knows it. 2. Maybe that cop didn't know the law, but it's equally possible they knew and were just trying to abuse their authority. Police officers do that sometimes, you know.

@kaithrine7 We need to reach the point where the supervisor 1) tells her "he can record you" and 2) asks if she said that and 3) arrests her at the scene. It's really not difficult to deal with stuff like this.

Profilbild von Cam Caught
Cam Caughtvor 1 Monat

Imagine a world where the supervisor shows up, confirms the phone seizure threat and does their job instead of just nodding and walking away, truly groundbreaking stuff tbh!! 🫡

Profilbild von Michael Chaney
Michael Chaneyvor 1 Monat

Correct. The threat in this case is a criminal act, it’s not covered by the first amendment. It’s a threat of robbery, and a good prosecutor could throw in both “under color of law” as well as “with a firearm” as aggravating circumstances. If criminals like this were properly arrested and charged, you would find that most of the supposed “training issues” in police departments would evaporate in three minutes. And for those of you who say “this will demoralize the police and lead to worse outcomes“, the argument that you’re making is that if we don’t allow cops to be criminals, then they won’t do their job. Probably not the argument you wanna be making.

@kaithrine7 All police these days seriously need to be removed and reeducated. There's too many cops with a them or us mentality. Cops used to be free to use officer discression on case by case basis. The modern cop only licks the heels of corporate goons, and pedophiles.

@kaithrine7 love that they're trained to say, "OH REALLY? YOU'RE A LAWYER NOW?" they're trained to challenge people for knowing the law because they don't. these people are paid by your tax dollars to carry a gun, btw.

"Do you study law" "No I have common sense" When my grandpa got esophageal cancer, I spent a whopping 20 minutes in the waiting room reading about treatment. Options avail vs risks involved, etc. When the Indian doctor came in and I asked a ton of questions regarding my grandpa and what I had just read his reply was... "It is very nice to speak with someone with a medical background, are you in school, or already in the medical field?" I replied "No... I'm just smart enough to read and I took the time to educate myself best I could in the waiting room" His entire demeanor changed. He got quiet. His replies were short, and then he focused all his convo to my grandpa who kept saying "Ask my grandson"
