Similar situation, I know how you feel.... Dad and mom split with I was 9 ... Dad was/is alcoholic so while he was "around" I didn't get a dad type of relationship with him. I CONSTANTLY second guess my abilities as a father because I don't "know" how a dad is suppose to act in certain situations. My wife tells me I'm doing a good job, but there is always that bug in the back of my brain asking " is this how a dad should do it? "
😮This not funny. The father is like an irresponsable child playing with a toy. He is risking the health of his little son, with the stupid and selfish thouht that "nothing bad can happen under his command. 🙄
