I always heard the difference between a jazz guitarist and a rock guitarist is, a rock guitarist wold play 3 chords in front of 1000 people and a jazz guitarist would play 1000 chords in front of 3 people...

I think I recognized a few of those licks from old cartoons. I can’t quite place them. But I think it could be either old Hanna-Barbera cartoons like Jetsons or Flintstones or Loony Tunes. Or maybe Speed Racer.

I never much cared for stunt guitar. Jeff Beck, especially later in his career, lavished care on every note. That's music.
