Remember when Lucasfilm dropped this legendary deleted scene between Anakin and Obi-Wan? 🥺💔 You can literally hear Anakin losing his faith in the Jedi Council in real-time. Is this the most important deleted scene in all of Star Wars? 👇

This was brilliant from Palpatine He doesn't try to sell the Dark Side. He wants Anakin to deliberately go there on his own.

One of the smartest details from the Revenge of the Sith novelisation is how Obi-Wan and Anakin deceive Count Dooku. Knowing they had failed on Geonosis, they open the duel with basic attacks from Ataru and Shien, forms that Dooku’s Makashi easily dismantles. This convinces Dooku that he’s facing the same Jedi he defeated three years earlier. Then they switch. Obi-Wan returns to his impenetrable Soresu, while Anakin unleashes the refined Djem So he mastered during the Clone Wars. Dooku suddenly realizes the opening exchange was a ruse and that Anakin had surpassed power levels he thought were possible.

The choreography in this little segment is so good. I love the little pause that Anakin takes before going back in to fight, they have Anakin duelling Ventress while Obi-Wan duels Grievous because Anakin is not allowed to meet Grievous until Revenge of the Sith.

Rare test footage of Anakin vs Obi-Wan before the final effects were added....🔥 The duel was already legendary. Best lightsaber fight in Star Wars history? ⚔️

Dooku is a genius. Notice how he puts Anakin on the defensive and Obi-Wan on the offensive, which tells you how opps Dooku is, and he was fighting both of them with one arm at his back 😳

I feel Yoda already sensed it was Anakin and was scared for Obi-Wan, Maul knew it was gonna happen, right after when he said that Anakin was groomed after sensing him murder Dooku from which General Grievous's ship was a trap, a trap long in the making

I can not understand how Anakin was able to sense Maul's presence when they barely had a direct contact or confrontation, Obi-Wan, I can understand because they fought that epic duel

Anakin vs Obi-Wan on Mustafar in Revenge of the Sith (2005) to “Battle of the Heroes” is pure cinematic legend.

Watching Obi-Wan and Anakin briefly have a conversation with one another before Vader’s anger takes over again is honestly still just as heartbreaking to watch now as it was back in 2022.

I always get sad when Obi Wan says this to Anakin. Anakin’s fall was more or less inevitable by this point, but you can see that moment of praise and the pride and love Kenobi has for his apprentice boosts his mood for a moment. Anakin looks like it took away all fear for a sec
