"Political football" is an euphemism to disguise that one team, the Labour run councils and local institutions, had systematically failed in their duty to protect vulnerable children from sadistic, sexual abuse. The other team - the Conservatives failed to also talk to the torture survivors and deal with instigating a thorough nationwide inquiry into this issue. To deny a systematic inquiry because of identification of a Political party directly involved, is nothing short of moral corruption in my view.

Both of these are important steps to help create a safer NZ for everyone - especially children.
