It's not because some thirst account on twitter says it. He averages the same number of drives per game as Mitchell and shoots more free throws. He's shooting the same number of FTs per game as embiid.

it's become very apparent too. he gets a tight whistle so i understand his frustration but he takes it too far. you can't grift and the complain when it doesn't work. he's not a big offender by any means but definitely growing.

numbers don't really support tight whistle! He also doesn't really grift or aim for contact at the rim so it makes sense.

annoys me most when he doesn't get back on defense bc he's complaining to a ref

I watch basically every 76ers game and this is so true. I love Maxey, but it’s cringe-inducing.

The players must get it from Nurse, he does it as much as any coach
