The show went downhill after killing his character. He was the most influential character in the series. You don’t kill such characters

I stopped watching this show after the brutality in which his character was killed. The show felt macabreish after that. But I went back years later and finished the series. I am glad I did. He played a character who was genuinely decent, but also a bad ass. It was hard not to like him.

Prior to that, I was hooked. I know, stupid but true. However, that was when my family stopped watching. I cannot explain it in words, and it wasn't because it was violent or I just loved his character. He was fine and played a good role. It just was the end of that show for us.
