According to him, speeches of "degenerate TV hosts" and "mankurts" really hurt Armenian-Russian relations. "I believe that as a result of these things, we should very seriously discuss the issue of stopping the broadcasting of Russian TV channels on the territory of the Republic of Armenia. The programs of these mankurts, these monkeys, have long been shut down in our country, as well as their entry into the country. But if their state channels allow themselves to interfere in Armenian internal affairs, maybe we should also react in the same way and at least close their access to our citizens' homes," Simonyan said.
