We issued a summons to the driver 20-year-old Javohir Asrorov for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, no registration, and no insurance after crashing into an Aurora Fire engine that was responding to a call. Emergency lights mean someone needs help don’t make it worse by getting in the way...or your car might end up looking like this one.

When approaching stopped emergency vehicles, tow trucks, or roadside assistance vehicles with flashing lights activated, drivers are required by law to SLOW DOWN and, when safe, MOVE OVER to the next lane. This driver was observed traveling too fast and dangerously close to an active traffic stop, which is a serious safety concern. Emergency personnel need a safe buffer to assist motorists and carry out their duties on the roadside. Your caution can save lives. Penalties for non-compliance include fines ranging from $490 to $2,000 and three demerit points upon conviction. County of Wellington ^cm

3 Safety critical interventions in a 6-mile round trip to the post office tonight with FSD 13.2.9. That’s 2 miles per critical intervention: 1. Goes right through a stop sign shown on map and visualization. See below. 2. At the intersection just past the stop sign, it did not yield right-of-way to oncoming traffic going straight as it was turning left. I had to emergency brake to prevent a collision. Reported. 3. After stopping and waiting at a stoplight appropriately, all of a sudden it accelerated through the stoplight for no apparent reason. I had to emergency brake before much of the car had not entered the intersection. (1) and (2) above are regularly reproducible and I have posted them earlier with videos. Anyone thinking there will be nationwide unsupervised FSD or nationwide Robotaxi this year or next year: you better think again. This man was driving in stop and go traffic with wet road conditions. The people in front hit their brakes but he doesn’t hit his at first, he speeds up a little and swerves into the left shoulder lane and the truck with a trailer behind him smashes into the car in front of him causing a chain reaction accident of cars. Some say he might be to blame because he didn’t brake because he was going to fast himself and it didn’t give the truck behind him enough time to stop. Others say no way, he had great defensive driving skills being aware of what was happening behind him. I am constantly looking in my rearview mirror and have swerved many times to avoid being hit from behind. Do you think his defensive driving skills were top notch or do you think he was partly to blame for that accident? Do you constantly watch your review mirrors? Been rear ended before.

Even if you are seated without wearing seat belts, an abrupt brake can be fatal or cause severe injuries as your body can be thrown out through the windshield. If that’s risky, imagine letting children stand through the sunroof while you’re speeding! It might sound harsh, but in such situations, there’s a chance you could run over your own children if you suddenly brake. We request Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Mahindra Automotive, Toyota India, Hyundai India, and other manufacturers to educate customers with proper training or awareness videos on the safe usage of sunroofs and the potential risks. The act caused unnecessary panic and delays, highlighting a shocking disregard for safety and common sense. Even today, some stations in India are such that you can pull the chain wherever you want and decide your own station. Think about other people who travel by train. They too have urgent needs to go somewhere, they too need to get there on time. Don't cause trouble to others for your own benefit.
