A woman in Long Beach, California is asking the public for help identifying a driver who hit two kids on a bike against her parked car, threatened her life with a bat and then ran over her right foot before fleeing the scene. The suspect vehicle is a gray Honda Civic with California plate 8PHZ068. Police have been unable to locate the driver. Road rage and hit and run incidents are becoming an everyday occurrence on American streets. Two children were involved. A woman was physically run over. And the driver fled. KZN police have arrested five of these gun-toting suspects this week. They were caught during an active robbery. This is the reality. People in LA have become so used to dogs suffering on the streets (in this case, tied up with a piece of wood over him) that people like the person in the grey T-shirt just walk by. No questions asked, no looking for help. Just walking by. And, frankly, how can we blame this person when horrors like this are ALL over Los Angeles. We should not be numb to this. We should see this and think "well, this doesn't seem normal". But that's what the animal crisis has done to Los Angeles. It has made images like this all too familiar.

I want to emphasize again that this is from Ridlgan's own PR video. They have unlimited access to their own facility and dogs, and this is the best clip they could find. What does that say about what it looks like when the cameras are NOT rolling? We need to get these dogs out. They are all going to be killed off or sent to experiments by July. JUST IN: two suspects have been detained after a felony traffic stop on the Beltway at the Dulles Access Road in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Whether you like it or not, I am not surprised he has been charged with assault police. Whatever has happened in the lead-up still doesn't make it acceptable to get hands on like this with the officer. Hate this post all you like, the fact remains he got hands on with the officer, anything leading up to this is another matter.

Protesters at Saint Annes police station last night. I have seen in the Echo today that politicians have come out condemning the next protest organised by the same person on County Road next week. Country Road is one of many areas in Liverpool that has undergone massive demographic and cultural change in a short space of time. Many of the locals are upset that this has been done to their home without consulting with any of them. It’s not that they were ignored. They were never part of the decision-making process to begin with. So they are taking to the streets to make themselves heard. And now they are being silenced by the very people that did this to them.
