Thank you, I needed to hear this. Have been developing a trading window and for a similar setup to your fishing one... I was doubting it the last 2 days (as it is every day in the same volatile window) but Friday was good - our chosen time windows may also not be perfect every time, but I will stick to it. I also found that focussing in on one window helped with price action understandings and getting into more detail on candle behaviours. Also just having one trade a day in a set timeframe is excellent for developing discipline.

Well said! Never focus longer than 2-3 hours after open or else your peak performance diminishes

When I trade well in the first 90 minutes but don't quit after a few profitable trades, then I have a loser. By then, I am trying to make back my loss when I am out of the zone mentally and out of the good price action so it's impossible to get back to where I should have quit.
