As AI agents become mainstream, he says the compute stack is also making a big shift: "The ratio of CPU to GPU is becoming like one-to-one." AMD is already using thousands of AI sub-agents to design its next generation of chips, and Papermaster believes we're "just at the early stages" of what's coming next.
