I think now is a good time for a new punk movement

Americans always had the word punk in their vocabulary but only applied it to their music retrospectively once they’d seen the sex pistols. Don’t tell me The Ramones are a punk band,just cos Sid liked them

For me it was July 1976, Black Swan Sheffield, Sex Pistols supported by The Clash
