We gave him our interview and he did way better than almost any of the full-time candidates that we had ever talked to. I have seen him right from the time he was playing tennis ball cricket and in the year 2013-14 , Abdul Azeem , the ex cricketer from Hyderabad and the selector then , had asked me to come and see his talent. He was made to play the two day leagues immediately and then in 2015 he played 3 day leagues and his speed and accuracy led to his making his Ranji trophy debut . 2016-17 he took 41 wickets in Ranji trophy and never looked back . His rise to representing #India across all formats of international cricket is a testament to how talent, discipline and hard work can overcome even the toughest obstacles. I went to a memorial for Brian Wilson today, One of the biggest thrills of my life was when he agreed to record multiple parts on my version of California Girls, and he brought the wonderful Jeffrey Foskett along to sing on the record too. I'll never forget how generous he was with his precious time and unmatched talent. Brian truly was a genius and I was his grateful friend. I love you, Brian. Forever and ever.
