Where does Calvinism go wrong?

Calvinism doesn’t go wrong because it’s what the Bible teaches.

Anti calvinist thinks human will is the supreme cause in the universe haha

The real question is not, “Is Calvinism right?” but, “What does Scripture actually teach?” God is sovereign in salvation, yet Scripture also holds people responsible to repent and believe. Any theological system goes wrong when it forces one biblical truth to erase another. ✝️ “Test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good.” 1 Thessalonians 5:21 NLT

Calvin and Arminius were both sinners. Why do we have "Christian" religions named after them? Stupid. Through Christ alone, His Word alone.

Prove that libertarian free will is the only uncaused cause in the universe. Prove that having a neutral impartiality of the will makes any decision anything more than blind chance. Prove to me that the necessary reality that God is Good necessarily removes His moral greatness. Your ministry exists specifically because will is not an uncaused cause, and choice is not blind chance.

Calvin: "We're all totally depraved and cannot write or say things perfectly, including me...Now read my 4 books and 1000+ pages on the Institutes of the Christian Religion, 516,000 words. -Yes it's almost as long as the Bible...what's your point?"

Amen.

Duuuude!! You are cooked!! Praise God for independent investigations!! Are you packing you bags to yank and bank on outta here!?! Hurry!! Prison coming

From beginning to end it's satanic trash that slanders God and destroys the gospel.

This is where your view of free will goes wrong .

It has a very hard time finding honest and well informed opponents.

Frank's position asserts and assumes that man must have a libertarian free will that must be at the center of his own salvation, not God's sovereign grace toward undeserving fallen man. His talking point here has been answered many times over.

questioning dogma from inside a church and outside one are two different things. one's stillness, the other's intensity.

It’s impossible to harmonize. Predestination vs. free will. How do you explain the Book of Life being written before creation? If Jesus Christ died for everyone, why is there a hell? The atonement is limited

You can begin by sending your god over for a coffee and a discussion. If you fail you have gone wrong.

Where does any denomination of Christianity go right? You’re all equally silly

In light of recent revelations out of UVU, I’m really surprised you’re spending time on this.

Gavin Ortland is “Calvinist.” 🤷 Nice of you to promote his book though.

At Calvin. 🤷♂️🤣

You don't know scriptures like you should

What are your briefs on Wesleyan churches such as Nazarene’s? Does their doctrinal beliefs align with your biblical understanding such as their brief on sanctification. Or the loss of your salvation? Their definition of sin? I am just curious.

And why preaching in the ReFormed community Which is Calvinist 99.9%

If you believe the God possessed exhaustive infallible knowledge of the future prior to creation, how does your own position escape the charge of the world being a sham? These answers are only satisfactory for non thinkers.

@DineshDSouza I miss Norm. He was a friend and teacher.

Exactly where scripture goes wrong.

Christianity minus marketing = Calvinism Calvinism minus mercy = God

Have you read Aquinas on predestination/election? Check out his commentary on Romans 9. (Spoiler: he's basically Calvinist.)

💯

Where anti Calvinism goes wrong. They simply can’t accept the conclusion

At cessationism

The same place all Protestants go wrong. Rejecting the teaching authority of the Catholic Church.

Where they say God choses some to be saved and others damned. Jesus died for all. It's a free gift, we can either reject it or accept it
