Where is the outrage? The wall-to-wall coverage? The universal condemnation? Two Jews were murdered in D.C. Twelve others were set on fire in Boulder, Colorado. Bari Weiss explains why these attacks feel different and what that silence says about antisemitism in America.

Anti-Zionist rhetoric is no longer fringe—it’s mainstream. And now, it’s violent.

"The Democratic Party's actions had left many U.S. citizens feeling humiliated. Signs of a Trump victory were proclaimed well before Biden withdrew from the race. The voters had had enough." 📝 @KarinaLMariani

@bariweiss It is good to see Bari going on the legacy media stations that are promoting this hatred the most, so their audience hears it.

@bariweiss Mainstream media has a responsibility to stand up and speak out condemning this terror. Now!

@bariweiss Well, when you can’t even count on your #Boulder city council…

@bariweiss it's good @bariweiss went on @Morning_Joe to debate whether the killings were good or not. weird that @MSNBC takes the opposing view though 🤷♂️

@bariweiss Bari's silence about the Gaza Holocaust is just as relevant

@bariweiss After 911, Muslims were harassed and attacked and it was condemned, as it should be when Jewish people in America are, as well

@bariweiss It isn’t anti-semitism in America it is anti-semitism in the media. The alleged perpetrators in the attacks are preferred media stereotypes so they bury the stories. If it had been white supremacists it would be all day coverage.

@bariweiss You should've told those two they're to blame

Due respect, Bari, while what you say with respect to these specific incidents is unequivocally true, I think your framing under-appreciates how antisemitism in America and the world more broadly has grown over the last decade, particularly on the political Left. This recent growth in antisemitism is what created the permission structure for people to announce that they were energized and exhilarated by October 7th and then to openly harass, intimidate and assault Jews simply for existing.
