A comment like that is so easy to make and you never have to go back and refute it. Ross made that statement a long time ago and look how popular he has become in the UFO world? The benefits of making that baseless claim outweighed the risks. The alien believers will not hold him to account and the skeptics will ask for evidence that he will never provide. So what were his incentives in making that claim? He gained a show on NewsNation and he gets tons of clicks and views. So it was a win-win for Ross.
