Have you ever read the Health studies associated with long term exposure to artificial grass or turf? Not good for anyone.

Don’t be a bitch and get real grass. Fake grass looks like shit and if you have a dog, enjoy your summers of fresh heated urine throughout your yard.

I think it is once you have enough plastic in your balls, you just want more.

I put some in around our pool b/c of chlorine in pool water. The off-gassing of artificial turf is somewhat toxic. Also: it heats up very hot in the sun. You still have maintenance to do on artificial turf: cleaning sap & debris. Raking in the sand that goes on top.

I think it’s a matter of if it’s cost effective. I would be glad to have artificial grass if I could justify the cost.
