That makes sense timeline-wise if he was off-planet or dealing with family stuff, but it's still wild that he didn't even get a 5-second news alert about Ross turning into a giant red rage monster. The Red Hulk event happened in Washington DC. He was presumably either in New York over 200 miles away or the training facility/secret lab in Mexico he took She Hulk to which is over 1,883 miles away

The Red Hulk only appeared in Brave New World for 9 minutes but we're not sure how the Battle of Washington DC took in Universe, but it's likely that by the time Bruce would arrived the fight would have been over.
