Same when sports fans were all shocked that garbage was left outside the stadium where bts did their concert, yet nothing is said about those same sports people destroying chairs at a stadium.

I have to show this to my husband! He is sitting in front of the TV already, waiting for the State of Origin (Australian rugby league) to start. He doesn't care how much he spends on Maroons gear. But his eyebrows raise every time I buy a new ARIRANG shirt or a BTS movie ticket!

Even in the film/tv/etc fandoms it’s so stupid. If it’s seen as a “male” fandom it’s supposed to be serious and important (ha!) but “female” fandoms? not so much.

Girl, the amount of grown ass men I've seen in tears when Neymar was called up for the world cup. Not just brasilians btw. Men from all over the world. It's exactly the same emotion a fangirl feels for their favorite artist. Just more socially acceptable.
