Utah and Colorado compete over a lot of things – who has the better mountains, the better skiing, the better economy, etc. I think it’s Utah, and Governor Jared Polis thinks it's Colorado. But one thing we agree on, is that Americans need to learn how to #DisagreeBetter and that healthy conflict results in better policy. This year as chair and vice chair of NGA, we’re setting out to do just that. We hope you’ll join us!

Not that Labour needs better communications or another relaunch. But that people need a sense of direction, purpose and belief. What’s striking is that Lynch explicitly contrasts managerial politics with politics that has a mission. And that’s why Andy Burnham is attracting so much attention.
