You should sand all of your replaced divots even if it's just a light coating. It keeps the birds from flipping them over later.

Question. If you don’t have the sand is it better to replace the “torn” up type divot or just leave it out? I always wonder if replacing it is good or not. The grass will most likely not grow.

I like the mix and wish we used that at our course. We do have the sand-filled bottles, but without the mix.

Just move it from the divot, no closer to the hole. People can’t fix ball marks regularly.

And if my course doesn't offer sand filler?

Can we get a straight answer on divots from the rough? Leave, throw the turf over the divot, or use mix?!
