I want to see the State of Michigan have its own paving ability and stop the ridiculous cost of paving! End property tax for your residence if you live here year around. Democrats blew through a $9B surplus, raided our teachers retirement fund, and raised income taxes. Michigan increased the gasoline tax to 52.4 cents per gallon. It’s supposed to pay for roads and transportation - fixing highways, county roads, city streets, and a portion for public transit like buses. Most of the money collected goes to “Administrative overhead” and debt service on old projects while Michigan roads are riddled with potholes. Michigan families deserve real, meaningful tax relief. Please vote accordingly for a change for Michigan. The gubernatorial primary is August 4, 2026.
