Now thats a though one. Both cities are beautiful and have historical significance. But I would still go with Prague. It has a bit more magic.

Recently did a Budapest, Krakow, Prague, Vienna loop by train flying in and out of Vienna. All of them are really great cities but Prague stands out.

I had a huge gut ache after a delicious meal in krakow. We went into the @Starbucks on the main square where the washroom was a tiny closet sized room with no noise privacy whatsoever. My wife had to wait patiently with our coffees in a full room as I destroyed their toilet. Krakow hospitality is fantastic!

Krakow. I've been trying to get myself there for about 20 years. i'd be interested in the city, the wider area and the history of WWII

Hopefully you will make it there sooner rather than later.

This is a really tough choice because theyโ€™re both high on my โ€œhavenโ€™t been there yet and must visit soonโ€ list. Krakow is closer to an errand I have to run in Slovakia; so it will edge out Prague by a hair.

Having been to Prague many times since the wall came down, and also Krakov, no choice, Prague is better, and surrounding cities like Karlovy Vevary (sp?) are a much better choice, and the weather is better.
