Should be the US, bc we merge right, on a 4 lane or more, when sirens approach & pull over on the side of the road, stop, on 2 way, but never clear the center like this when sitting in stopped traffic. We also pull over to the right side & stop, out of respect, when a funeral precession approaches.

We also do that in South Africa we leave the yellow line for the ambulance or for any emergency vehicle to pass through
