Lot of fast bowlers in the world have rated Md. Asif as one of the best swing bowlers. His career was cut short by legal controversies but having an average of 24 for Asian fast bowler really speaks of his talent. Not sure of the truth but a great talent who did not reach the zenith.

Sreesanth

It has to be Tendulkar. He is my favourite cricketer but he did not exactly stand head and shoulders above the rest in the 90s and 2000s. Never had a test series like Lara in SL or Gavaskar in WI. Those consistent 30s and 40s were missing between majestic 100s affecting his average. He had the game but did not quite fulfill the promise it held.

In Tests 🫥

With respect to India, I think Irfan Pathan. Could have gone on to be one of the best all rounders in Indi. Then obviously Prithvi Shaw (still has time)

KL Rahul was Most Talented Cricketer Even More talented than Abd & Sachin but Somehow didn't even achieve 25% of his Potential due to Injury ODI - He was Still Legend but didn't get chance in 2016-19 Test - Bottled in 2018-2023 injury & Home series miss T20i - GOAT to Khair🥀

Nobody has been a bigger disappointment than - Junior Bravo - P Shaw And above all - Umar Akmal Had Akmal not had all those disciplinary issues, he would have been up there with the very best from Pak.

Prithvi shah, Badoni, Hardik Pandya, Sanjay Bangar, Babar, and Tejasvi Yadav

KL Rahul in T20i💔💔

KL Rahul, what he could have been

Lawrence Rowe and Carl Hooper. I still maintain Hooper was a greater natural talent than Lara. Yagga was in a class of his own - not even Hooper was as elegant or graceful a stroke maker.

There was a time when Pak had Amir and Asif - and as an indian fan i was shaking in my boots! Thinking we'd see a decade of fast bowling dominance from Pak.. Imagine Shaheen & Naseem joining them. Scary! Instead Pak lost them to fixing & now prepare spin wickets at home. Phew!

Unmukt chand and myself 🤣 (immense thoda jyeda ho jyega but i wasted what could have been better)

Asif, obviously has been the epitome of wasted talent in the history of cricket. What a master of precision swing bowling he was!

Bro gave us trauma in 2006 test series. 🥲

King Kohli in Tests. Should have scored atleast 13000 runs and 40 centuries

Hon Pakistan sy par prithvi shaw jitni meine cricket dekhi kheli wo Banda kuch alag type k talent k saath aya tha uska odi k sr sy test khelna t20 k sr sy odi aur averages 55 plus hona I think wrongly drop huwa ussy manage karta India too 2 3 players ka impact uss akely mein tha

Mohammed Asif was an amazing magician with the ball getting exact movement needed to beat the batsman!

Chris Cairns & Jesse Ryder still love them both.

1st Asif 2nd Umar Akmal 3rd Imran Nazir

...or in another word overrated Jimmy Neesham

Babar Azam

K L Rahul, with the amount of talent and the chances he has he should be in league of kohli and sachin.

Yes yes Asif and Amir both

james pattinson i have high expectations from him when I saw him 1st time during the bgt series of 2011/12 he literally bowled 3 top order batsman in that series in the Scgtest of that tour he was superfast at that time i have high expectations but somehow it was diminished.

Many would say that he was more lethal than McGrath tho he was not as consistent. Watching him bowl in a live match was an incredible experience, you enjoyed every single ball and the replays and you could clearly see the confused, clueless batters on his good length deliveries.

Vinod Kambli. Sadly he never worked on Short Pitch bowling. West Indies bowlers exposed his weakness on Home series in 1994.but definitely an elegant player

@muddasser_iqbal

1. Kambli 2. Hicks

honestly , KL Rahul he still has achieved a lot, but I still he was destined for more than what he has achieved

Sachin. Should have retired with atleast 60 average. Scored several 150s but few 300s and more doubles missed. He should have stood head and shoulders above his contempories.

@emclub77 Ramnaresh Sarwan

But wasn't this porki a fixer... Just another beggar porki who sold himself for a few dollars...

It was Asif

🇮🇳 - vinod kambli 🇵🇰 - M. Asif 🇧🇩 - mustafizur rehman 🇱🇰 - kusal mendis 🇦🇺 - Brad hodge 🇳🇿 - Shane bond 🌴 - Nicholas pooran 🇿🇦 - Neil McKenzie 🏴 - Graeme hick
