Disturbed..And it’s not close

Disturbed. Their version made it a totally different song that S&G. Everyone after Disturbed is just trying to sound like Disturbed without the powerful voice of David Draiman.

Hands down Disturbed, Dave Draiman.

I’m almost always an original artist guy, but Disturbed did for this song the same thing Johnny Cash did for NIN song Hurt

Original 1981? The original is from 1964.

@Disturbed with @davidmdraiman has it hands down. The power of the vocals with the articulate composition of the music. Outstanding stuff. Seeing them perform it live was awesome. Every soul in the crowd was silent during it.

Simon and Garfunkel

Simon & Garfunkel. They sing like angels, and they of course wrote it. The rest of the performances are too overwrought & over-the-top, they distract from the lyrics.

Definitely Disturbed! I’ve watched his music video rendition so many times. Absolute chills.

only the original does not extremely suck. the disturbed version is embarrassing.

Some interesting takes on it here, but I still prefer the original.

I think the Simon and Garfunkel rendition is best. Though it was sung with far less passion than the later ones, they articulate the words clearly enough for the listener to examine them and let those lyrics stand on their own value.

That version from Simon and Garfunkel was from the concert in Central Park. Art Garfunkel has the voice of an angel and with Paul Simon, nothing compares.

Disturbed, 2nd to the original

Disturbed, still gives me chills.

It’s Paul’s song. From his soul. Art was eye candy. The others should create their own music.

Not Pentatonix. Celtic Thunder added the gritty blast to it. While all the others were awesome (including the original which I remember hearing on radio) I always lean to Disturbed as my favorite!
