“Which play will define this Knicks team?” “Josh Hart missing a wide open layup” 💀 (via Malika Andrews)

@MikeyCoinSnatch @malika_andrews No Malika, that doesn’t surprise a single diehard fan. That play and aftermath, embodied that team so well. Down but never out, keep your head up. On to the next play…

@malika_andrews But this tho… 🫡

@malika_andrews This. This is what everyone missed The bookies The opponents The “experts” The Becky Hammonds This mentality was missed by everyone but the Knicks. This was the edge they had. There’s no box score for that. No stats. Fucking awesome.

@malika_andrews That's why they call him the Captain 🫡

@malika_andrews He’s spittin’ what a verse, so iconic.

@malika_andrews This right here is why I love these guys. Just like any group of friends ragging on each other no matter what.

@malika_andrews His answer actually makes sense too 🔥

@malika_andrews " when you move past the mistake...." thanks jalen I needed that .. you're my 6th favorite player ever now

@malika_andrews HOLY CRAP that is the TRUTH. "Get up. Next play"

@malika_andrews Is this the first Malika interview ever that the player didn’t glaze himself for 15 minutes? Instead Brunson trolls his brother 🤣

@malika_andrews He ain’t never lied. Every single person was flabbergasted when Josh missed that layup, we’re probably all felt like Josh. But I kid you not, when they all went to pick him up, all those emotions went away. They didn’t just pick up Josh, they picked up everyone.

@malika_andrews Man. What an answer. Kind of man you want leading your team.

@malika_andrews thought he was trolling Hart at first, but its actually a great unexpected answer

@malika_andrews

@malika_andrews missing a wide open layup is exactly the kind of energy i bring to relationships honestly

@malika_andrews But you noticed how after Hart missed, he immediately fouled Wemby. And he went to the line and missed 2 free throws. So Hart made up for that mistake and got the ball back for us. Plus, it set up for the miraculous OG put back that made NY ago crazy at MSG…and believe. TY Hart

@malika_andrews Josh was fuckin up. that wasn't even his worse play. a few plays later he didn't box out and they got a crucial offensive rebound that could have sealed the game. but Josh is a true knick. so fck it

@malika_andrews Bro found the entire legacy in one possession 💀

@malika_andrews mike brown has built the mentality for legends. get back up. no crying to refs like luka. get up and try again

@malika_andrews Bro was ice cold with that

@MikeyCoinSnatch @malika_andrews Leader and trolling josh Statue now

@malika_andrews They got it out the mud... When shit looked down, they pushed each other up!

@malika_andrews Not a Knicks fan, but that’s real talk. What sports is about.

@malika_andrews it’s really hard to dislike this guy✊

@malika_andrews This guy deserves everything. Such a leader

@malika_andrews knicks really said missing layups is a team bonding exercise

@malika_andrews josh hart how tf you miss that wide open layup i just spilled my soda

@malika_andrews Thought he was trolling for a sec

@AirKistler with your somewhat regular basketball analogies, we need a Brunson/Knicks analysis video! (And Brunson “alone in the gym” mindset contrasted side-by-side Fox living out the golden algorithm in real time - seemingly trying to prove “clutch” and doing the opposite)

@malika_andrews Does he mean that play won them the championship?

@malika_andrews

@malika_andrews The way he got that hat perfectly covering his eyes is self mastery I gotta respect it

@malika_andrews he met with better monks

@malika_andrews This is why I hate aggregate accounts. You deliberately only posted part of the answer and put that skull there to manipulate people into thinking the answer was something entirely different than what it was to farm for engagement.

@malika_andrews Yeah Josh’s ass got bailed out as usual 💯
