Which Sword for Zombie Apocalypse?

The fact that Blight: Survival, a zombie survival game in a medieval setting, was recently announced, this video feels very relevant.

@philosopherleo I would still carry a halberd. You want to keep them from getting close, and you have greater swinging momentum. Better if you're caught outdoors. A scimitar would be great for indoors, since you likely won't have as much room to swing.

Any thoughts on the falchion for scenario, particularly the cleaver style falchions?

I always thought that the best anti zombie melee weapon, was one that is durable destroys the skull and can be easily maintained/ replaced. Really the humble spear does a good job. It has the piercing force to destroy the brain. Keeps them away easy to make. Not a sword but still

A falchion or messer might be good for cleaving power

I’m glad that you mentioned the hunting sword. I was gonna say a cutlass. Maybe a little shorter than a hunting sword, but still a very good a tool.
