So tired of the “booed Santa Claus” crap. The Eagles announced that Santa would appear at halftime for one their games in the 60s. The guy set play Santa (and his Santa suit) got his car stuck in a snow drift and couldn’t make it. Just by chance a college kid showed up wearing his own Santa suit and the eagles asked him to take the field at halftime. When he did he was drunk and goofing off, not acting like Santa. After a couple boos he started jokingly antagonizing the crowd and encouraging them to boo more. It all devolved into a big joke and everyone had a good time. That’s all.
