Kai is an abomination for people with TikTok brain. The new voice actors sound like nails on a chalkboard and the returning ones have lost all their personality. Don’t even get me started on the awful redrawn scenes and horribly traced ones. All wrapped up in a disgusting green tint. Gross.

I'm sorry but I'll just always love Linda Young's Frieza the best. I feel like that raspy voice fits him so well.

I’m not even referring to the dubs because I do not watch dubs but Kai is the superior way to experience Dragonball Z.

I know I'm biased but the DBZ version is better. The Kai version makes Frieza seem like he sees himself as almost a good guy for killing the saiyans. Goku's response at the end seems weak too. Dunno though, I've never watched Kai so maybe it fits better when watched all together.

The OG dub is so much better, the Kai dialogue is more eloquent for sure, but the OG dub is just raw unabashed DBZ

The flow of the dialogue in Kai is better compared to the original dub. On top of that Chris Ayers fits Frieza's emperor styled character like a glove, no shade to Linda Young. The tone of the voices better fit the scene too, since they don't have inflections all over the place

OG dub with the Bruce falconer and his teams score, it's aint the same without the amazing soundtracks

I love that Kai is accurate but the DBZ dub Frieza sounds better to me. It just fits to me. Could’ve been nostalgia but it just fits the little, tyrannical, madman that I imagine

Funi dub is still better. Also it is funny in Kai dub that Frieza says compared to the saiyans he is a Saint when he has committed untold numbers of Genocides himself.

Between these dubs, Kai and it isn’t close. OG Funimation dub was godawful, massively overrated.

The Frieza saga is pretty much the only saga in which Kai wins 95% of the time. Just look at any comparison video on YouTube and that seems to be the general consensus. Also, hearing Sean and Chris giving the voice acting performance of a lifetime was a treat to watch.

DBZ Kai English dub sounds better as an alternative to original Japanese that I watched without subtitles. Although I have experienced DBZ dubbed in Tagalog too!😆👍🏽

To be fair, the best is to watch the original, because classic Dub is deviates too much from the manga, and the Kai keep the manga dialogue, but folks say is worse. Again, better to watch JP, Classic and Kai are good.

Kai by a mile. Just the difference in pronouns really shifts the scene. In Kai, Goku sounds like he's fully embracing his Saiyan heritage by saying, "we paid for our crimes" as opposed to "they" and "their".

DBZ dub

I think both are fine sometimes Z has some dumb stuff in it and sometimes Kai has some bad lines.
