Chris Ayres>>>>>>>>>>Linda Young. No disrespect towards her, but Ayres sounded more like Frieza's Japanese voice, Young is good as Baba and Genkai in YYH, but I always thought her Frieza was off

Kai, sounds less like goku is announcing shit and is more straight forward Plus freiza dont sound like a chain smoker

The original Funimation dub had the perfect voices but unfortunately had inexperienced actors at the time and only got better overtime in the Videogames. However the Kai actor had fit the role perfectly capturing how condescending Frieza truly is

Z all the way. The thing I exactly hated with Kai is that it shortened alot of dialog, killing suspense. Goku turning SSJ3 is a good example too.

I’m not a huge fan of Kai, but it does have a legitimately good English dub. The original dub is nearly painful now comparatively.

Kai doesn't hit right but I love Both. OG/Funimation and Ocean were so theatrical. Idk why Kai misses the mark on performance, VAs and Osts

Everyone SHOULD PREFER the Kai version as it’s the BETTER version. Only delusional fucks like the OG and think it’s better.

Kai clears sorry. Linda Young is a great voice actress, but she’s better suited to characters like Babba and Fasha. Chris Ayers and Daman Mills are just far better suited to the character.

Kai is trash, hats the music. Hate both their voices and why is goku whispering. Original music has more of an alien world mysterious music feel

Kai By A country mile. Funimation is the worst way to watch Z, especially with atrocious music score🤮 although The Voices themselves for Specific Characters like Freiza For example don't sound Bad, They just sound inexperienced Soo it just sounds off. That goes for all the cast

The first sounds like an authentic villain to take seriously, and to fear. The 2nd sounds too much like a cartoon villain, if Frieza had a stache, he'd be twirling it rn.

The line delivery and writing for Kai is 100% better. I can get having an opinion of liking the original but let’s be honest, it’s mostly because of nostalgia

as some people will say in the comment section, I never really cared for Linda Young and how she portrayed freezer it sounds just like a smoke addict, raspy voice, and I’m not a fan, but Chris man the way he voiced freezer as this maniacal villain was fantastic
